CHAMPAIGN – Board members of the Orpheum Children's Science Museum in Champaign will be adopting new safety measures for the museum after a child was injured there last weekend.
The child was injured Sunday afternoon when a steel bell on a new tugboat exhibit at the museum came loose and fell on the child, hitting him on the head, said George Stanhope, president of the museum's board of directors.
