Champaign County courts
URBANA – The following criminal cases were resolved recently in Champaign County Circuit Court with guilty pleas by defendants:
– Willie Hill, 40, of the 1400 block of Holly Hill Drive, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for possession with intent to deliver cannabis. He admitted that on May 17, 2007, he had about 13 pounds of cannabis in the garage of his home, which he shared with his girlfriend, Marita Douglas. Her brother, Bryant Douglas, 31, was recently sentenced to 40 years in prison for possession of that cannabis as well as 1.9 pounds of cocaine in the house.
