URBANA – A Champaign man with a history of felony convictions was sentenced Monday to nine years in prison for aggravated battery.

Shatez Long, 36, who listed an address in the 1400 block of Joanne Lane, pleaded guilty in September to hitting Champaign police Officer Kevin Olmstead with his fist on June 16.
