Emil Jones should go to U.S. Senate

This is in regards to your Nov. 10 editorial, "In Blagojevich we trust to make Senate appointment."

Let me show you another way of looking at the situation. In college (I graduated from Illinois State over 25 years ago), one of my professors suggested that when you have an incompetent employee (in this case, Emil Jones) instead of demoting the employee, you should promote them (that would be Gov. Blagojevich appointing Jones to the U.S. Senate).
