Bank owners need support of public
Have you ever taken a chance on someone or thing? First National Bank of Danville/Westville apparently did and invested in people they thought were worth the risk. Now the feds are saying the bank is undercapitalized in relation to those risks. Who knows what the feds will do. But I want Craig and Kim Campbell, co-owners, to know they have my support and hopefully yours as well.
I personally bank with them as does my business and I will continue to do so because they need us to support them. The Campbells have supported over 100 organizations in Vermilion County, some probably of interest to you. The list is too long to recite but here are just a few: DACC, Danville Area Community College Foundation, Danville Symphony Orchestra, Danville Public Library, Arts in the Park, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club, Boys and Girls Scouts, Breast Cancer Awareness, Catholic Charities, CRIS, YMCA, parochial and public schools, Habitat for Humanity, Laura Lee Fellowship, March Of Dimes, MDA, Vermilion Advantage, Vermilion County Animal Shelter, Vermilion County Museum and War Museum, Juvenile Diabetes, United Way, Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, Winterview Park, Women's Care Clinic, Relay 4 Life.
