County courthouse foundation in good shape, engineer says

URBANA – A structural engineer has told the Champaign County Board that its courthouse's century-old foundation is in good shape.

That means a good prognosis for the new courthouse tower to be on schedule or even ahead, weather permitting, says Steve Beckett, who heads the board's facilities committee.
