After more than two months of highly competitive regular-season play, the 59th annual Champaign-Urbana Kiwanis Little League tournament began late June at several parks throughout the area. Each game ultimately led to championship game, which was held at 6 p.m. on July 7 at Zahnd Park.
In the championship game, Illinois American Water took on Bacon & Van Buskirk. The two teams battled it out before Illinois American Water finally pulled away for a 12-6 win.

If you'd like a CD copy of the WDWS Radio play-by-play of the third place or title games, you can either postal mail your information and payment or stop by the WDWS Radio Center, 2301 S. Neil, Champaign, on Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Cost for the CD is $15 per game.
